I bet you don’t think this post is about you, do you?

Have you ever encountered
one of those bloggers who is just the perfect mix of self-denial, insecurity, arrogance, and unoriginality that everything they write seems flat and insincere, contrived, and sort of … regurgitated? Or take all those qualities and add to the mix a real flare for name-calling and self-aggrandizement, and you get a real shouty, boorish, almost 4th grade “I’m the best look at me” bullying sort of blogger. Lots of heat, but no light. I know a few bloggers like that, but I bet they don’t know I’m talking about them. It’s a kind of reverse-vanity.

Hahaha. You’re too modest.
I know you aren’t talking about me — I’m too humble.

I’m the most humble person in the world, by far.
No, I’m way more humble than you ever thought about being.
And just when I thought my bruised ego was getting better. Cr*p…more therapy.
Dude, Brian Leiter.

Dude, for real. Even when I agree with him.
You liberltarian back patting Hamas worshipping nihilist who has the moral clarity of a thimble.
Maybe something like that.
It’s the damn third person isn’t it?
RSM, right?
I took this post as a personal rebuke until I saw the words “unoriginality” and “regurgitated”.
There were, however, clouds in my coffee.
Nihilist.
