I was only lukewarm on Snow Crash, but I think I'd put Anathem up there with Ender's Game. Yes, it seems intimidatingly long but didn't <i>Cryptonomicon</i> seem that way at first, too? Its intellectualism is more subtle than what you came across in <i>Anathem</i>, at least until the final book, but that is sometimes a good thing.
