Christopher Hitchens takes a shot at Jon Stewart, Al Franken, and Stephen Colbert.  Too much of his piece relies on cherry-picking, if you ask me.

I agree. He barely mentions Colbert and relies more on Jon’s writing than on actually watching episodes of “The Daily Show,” and even then more on “Naked Pictures of Famous People” than on “America.” It seems to me like he disagreed with Franken’s humor, and then lumped in Colbert and Stewart after minimal research in order to make it a “trend.” He should have stuck to Franken, at least he did his research there.

Yes – easily one of the worst Hitchens pieces I’ve read, and he has many, many pieces that I find hard to bear.
