Rod Dreher exhumes a great YouTube clip of Kurt Russell auditioning for the role of Han Solo in Star Wars:


This, of course, begs several important questions. Had Russell played Han Solo, would he have gone on to star in Indiana Jones? Does Harrison Ford don an eye-patch and assume the role of iconic B-movie action hero Snake Plissken in Escape from New York and Escape from LA? The mind boggles.
